The XVI Belgrade Arbitration Conference was held in Belgrade on Friday, 20 March 2026, organized by the Serbian Association for International Law and the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, with the support of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS).
On behalf of the Serbian Association for International Law, participants were welcomed by Vladimir Djerić, a member of the Association’s Board of Directors and an attorney at the law firm MJB.
The Belgrade Arbitration Conference is an annual academic event that brings together leading experts in international commercial arbitration from various countries. This year’s conference featured several thematic panels addressing current issues of international commercial arbitration law.
Traditionally, the conference is held in parallel with the Belgrade Open Pre-Moot, a preparatory competition for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the world’s leading competition in international sales law and international commercial arbitration. The law firm MJB sponsors the moot team of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, further contributing to the development of young legal professionals and the promotion of arbitration in Serbia.
