On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the newly opened Palace of Science in Belgrade hosted the conference “Innovations in the Era of Artificial Intelligence – The Perspective of Serbia,” organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia and the European Patent Organisation (EPO), with the support of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Serbia. The event brought together numerous experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, intellectual property law, and innovation.

As part of the program, a panel discussion was held featuring Mara Janković, attorney and European patent attorney from the MJB law office. The panel attracted significant attention, as participants from various fields shed light on key challenges related to innovation in the domain of artificial intelligence. The panelists also shared their perspectives on the future development of legislation and practice in this area, both at the national and international levels.
